The Role

As a Repairs and Maintenance Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our Property and Compliance team, supporting a variety of property-related services including responsive repairs, void works, compliance inspections and planned maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment and wants to contribute to delivering excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling enquiries from residents and contractors regarding repairs and maintenance.
  • Coordinating urgent and emergency repair requests.
  • Monitoring job completions and costings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Raising and coding purchase orders and managing invoice workflows.
  • Providing key performance data to monitor contractor performance.
  • Arranging meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  • Supporting compliance activities (gas, electric, lift, legionella, asbestos, etc.).
  • Managing resident surveys and feedback collection.
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with GDPR and regulatory standards.

What You'll Bring

Essential:

  • Experience in housing, property maintenance, or contractor support.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • A logical, proactive approach and commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Desirable:

  • Experience with housing management systems.
  • Knowledge of landlord compliance requirements.
  • Qualifications in construction or property-related disciplines (e.g., HNC/HND).
