We are working with a global education business who is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst during a significant period of change.
You will play a pivotal role in an ecommerce re-platforming project to BigCommerce, responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical capabilities to ensure a smooth and efficient migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Ecommerce Re-platforming: Drive the business analysis activities for the BigCommerce re-platforming project.
- Requirement Gathering: Elicit, document, and validate business requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency through the BigCommerce platform.
- Data Migration: Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration strategies and ensure data integrity.
- Change Management: Support change management initiatives by communicating the impact of the re-platforming project to relevant stakeholders. Actively participate in the change request process, assessing impact, and communicating changes effectively.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, development teams, and project management.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in e-commerce platform projects, with a strong focus on platform migration projects, Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud/ similar is essential.
- Deep understanding of BigCommerce is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience joining projects mid-flight and quickly assessing and addressing requirements gaps.
- Proven ability to manage change requests effectively, including impact assessment and communication.
