Void and Repairs Manager

Adecco are seeking a dynamic and experienced Void and Repairs Manager to lead our clients voids and repairs service within the Housing department. This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective, and resident-focused repairs and maintenance services across our clients housing stock.

  • Full Time - Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
  • Temporary Role - current end date of 30/09/2025 however extension is likely
  • £355 per day Umbrella
  • Hybrid Working - 3 days in office, remainder at home
  • ASAP start

**Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Void Repairs team, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
  • Oversee operational and financial management of term contracts for repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage void budgets and ensure value for money in all service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies for preventative maintenance and emergency planning.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice across the Housing department.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated service delivery.
  • Monitor and report on performance (KPIs), ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Manage third-party contractors and consultants to maintain habitable homes.
  • Represent Housing at resident and stakeholder meetings.

**What We're Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing a voids and repairs service.
  • Strong understanding of contract procurement, planning, and delivery.
  • Experience in budget planning, financial control, and cost modelling.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience working with ICT systems and performance data.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant professional construction qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
