Science Solutions are currently working with a well established client who are part of an international Pharmaceutical group to recruit for a Medical Affairs Officer for their team in the South West of England.
As a Medical Affairs Officer you will be instrumental in ensuring patient safety by providing Pharmacovigilance support to the EU QPPV through the following responsibilities
- Review of safety data from multiple sources including patient reports, healthcare professionals and regulatory bodies
- Case processing and triaging of ICSRs including logging and data entry
- Signal Management; including detection, assessment and recommended actions
- Implementation, review and maintenance of Risk Management Plans and implementation of Risk Minimisation activities
- Authoring/reviewing aggregate safety reports
Requirements
- BSc or equivalent in a Scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry etc)
- Significant experience in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs
- Robust communication skills (verbal and written)
