Job Description
As Finance Director at T2 Group, you'll have the ability to implement forward-thinking financial practices, manage large-scale contracts, and adapt to new funding regulations, ensuring both personal and professional growth in a dynamic and impactful environment.
Key features of the role:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead the finance team, providing direction and fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee recruitment, coaching, and resource planning to align with strategic goals.
- Financial Planning and Operations: Manage the financial planning and budgeting processes, oversee month-end accounts, forecasting, payroll, and audits, ensuring timely, accurate reporting and efficient cash flow management.
- Commercial: Drive the successful delivery of contracts and tenders, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with regulatory changes.
- Auditing & Compliance: Lead internal and external audits, maintaining compliance with funding bodies, Department for Education (DfE) audits, and health & safety regulations.
- Business Partnering: Analyse the finanicial climate, key data and trends to support the senior leadership teams and Executive Board in creating strategic plans for the future.
The Successful Applicant

- A professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Proven experience in a Financial leadership role
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
- Proficiency in accounting software
- An analytical mind with a strategic capability
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
