Due to continued growth and success, the opportunity to recruit a Demand Planner has arisen
to manage the planning function between their production facility and customer sales. The
successful candidate will be highly analytical and experienced in forecasting demand by
analysing data of B2B and B2C customers within the beauty, wellness or a related consumer
goods industry.
Responsibilities:
- Tracking product inventory, analysing sales, stock, and other data statistics
- Coordinating with the production manager to ensure demand and production planning
- are accurately synchronised
- Working with data from Shopify, Amazon, third party retailers & national chains like
- Holland & Barrett
- Modelling data to forecast future demand and ensuring this data is correctly setup in
- Netsuite ERP. And ensuring Netsuite data is kept up to date to ensure accuracy
- Obtaining information on occurrences that could impact demand like promotions and
- production delays
- Chair a monthly Demand review meetings and play a key role in driving Demand and
- Sales
- Gathering updates on suppliers, distributors, sales, and other stakeholders that can
- affect demand
- Periodically present the demand plan and strategy to the management or operations
- team
Requirements
- The ideal candidate should have 3-4 years' experience in demand planning with a
- health & beauty brand that has its own inhouse manufacturing & logistics function.
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Demand Planner
- Forecasting & statistical modelling
- Ability to follow and understand big-picture economic trends
- Strong understanding of using Netsuite ERP system
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite
- (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

- Analysis and problem-solving skills such as the ability to question, accurately identify
- a need, and present an effective solution
