Description
- Manage and oversee all financial operations within the company.
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Work with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
- Develop strategies that work to minimise financial risk.
- Implement robust financial systems and processes.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- An Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience in a similar role within the technology and design industry.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Proficiency in use of accounting software.
- Fluent in Spanish (desired but not necessary)
