Transport Administrator - Part Time

Our client is a family run business which supplies warehousing facilities, transport and distribution covering the UK and Europe. Due to continued expansion they require a part time Transport administrator to work within the administration department in their Selby office. The role is to work 9 until 5pm Thursday & Friday each week. My client is proud of the longevity of service which spans their team, some who have achieved over 30 years' service.

Duties include:

  • Working mainly on their inhouse management system and the system which supports their network of partners to follow through deliveries to their end destination
  • Inputting traffic jobs
  • Dealing with a high volume of queries via phone and email
  • Monitoring deliveries are running on time and liaising with the relevant partners to update them of any issues/delays
  • Liaising internally with their traffic department with regard to any changes or updates to the system
  • Assisting the Transport Team with administration requirements and booking forms
  • Processing proof of deliveries of goods

  • High level of attention to detail with administration
