Group Senior Technical Accountant
Morgan McKinley is supporting a leading global business to recruit a Group Senior Technical Accountant.
The role has a broad remit and will require you to be confident in explaining complex technical accounting to various internal stakeholders. This is an important position in the Group Finance team which will be focused on preparing the Group consolidated Annual Report and Financial Statements, and supporting with the monthly Board Report. Specific responsibilities will include the following:
- Manage technical accounting and reporting queries from various countries
- Prepare Balance Sheet commentary and P&L analysis
- Monitor and report on below EBITDA non-recurring costs
- Assist with reporting requirements relating to ERP implementation
- Responsibility for drafting new group accounting policies
- Review of accounting for financial instruments
To be considered for this role you will need to be a Qualified Accountant with experience of auditing multi-currency group consolidations.
You will likely be working as a Manager or Senior Manager in practice and looking to transition into industry to progress your career, or you may already be working in industry in a similar role and seeking a new challenge.
You will need to have strong technical accounting knowledge and IFRS financial reporting experience for this role, and be passionate about driving process improvements and implementing change in a business which is fast growing.
