What You'll Do:
- Manage Financial Transactions: Oversee all financial transactions for both UK and overseas businesses, including processing purchase invoices and matching them to purchase orders.
- Maintain Accounts: Keep accounts payable and receivable ledgers up-to-date and ensure general ledgers are accurate.
- Assist in Financial Returns and Reviews: Help compile VAT and PAYE/Pension returns, conduct quarterly reviews of company accounts, and prepare files for bank and financial audits.
- Manage Bank Reconciliations and Cash: Handle bank reconciliations, cash management, and aged debt management.
- Cost Reduction and Ad Hoc Duties: Propose cost reduction strategies and perform ad hoc duties, analysis, and reports as requested.
What We're Looking For:
- Technical Skills: Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Finance Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic finance and accounts payable/receivable principles, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Communication and Professionalism: Excellent English communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, and a driven work ethic with a high degree of accuracy.
