Role Summary:

My client is a fast-paced Managed IT Service Provider based in the south-west. With an award-winning track record for both growing and rewarding staff, they are looking to add to their amazing team.

Are you ready to take the next step in your IT career and become an Account Manager ? As an Account Manager, you'll be at the forefront of building and maintaining strong client relationships, ultimately building trust between clients. You'll act as an outsourced IT Manager, working closely with key client stakeholders to deliver key information systems and evaluate IT infrastructure to identify risks and present solutions that improve business efficiency and growth.

As an Account Manager, you'll work closely with a team of in-house solutions experts, attending quarterly business reviews and board level strategy meetings with client decision makers. You'll oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established internal processes and tool sets, and devise and establish information policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by your clients' senior management.

We're looking for IT professionals with advanced 2nd line or 3rd line technical experience who are ready to take the next step in their career with a customer-facing role, or someone with previous experience in a similar role.

Qualifications and Skills Proven work experience as an Account Manager, IT Account Manager, Customer facing 3rd line or Junior Account Manager or similar role (3+ years) or relevant role

***This is an Office based role, with occasional flexibility to work some days remotely after the 3 month probation period, candidate must be able to get to Frome regularly***

Experience:

  • IT Support Experience or Account Management: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)

Work Location: In person

Additional INFO

Normal hours are 0845 - 1730 with 45min lunch

Account managers will have a bonus

80% first month of support contract new business

50% first month margin for any recurring revenue in to existing clients

There will be a team bonus based around getting clients to meetings and then hitting target, so they would have to be on track to get their £45k

And for £42k top of the salary range they'd need to be able to walk in and start managing key clients (100+ seaters) as a virtual IT director

Most clients are localish (within an hours drive), but some have more than one site, its quite rare to have to drive far though.
