We are looking to recruit 2 new midday supervisors to join an established early years team. Site will host 2 classes of children with severe and complex learning needs,
As midday supervisor you will be supporting the classes for 4 hours per day, to include supervision over the lunch period.
Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided, however experience of a learning through play environment would be beneficial.
Training opportunities may include:
- Using a communication book / device
- Low arousal approach
- Behaviour and de-escalation
- Occupational therapy basics including sensory regulation
- Child protection
- Online safety and GDPR
- Administering medication
- Introduction to dysphagia
