Bookkeeper

Reed Practice are looking for a bookkeeper with a strong background in accounting and VAT. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with a positive attitude, keen attention to detail, and a high standard of professionalism.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 4, overseeing bookkeeping work and ensuring monthly targets are met.
- Manage a diverse client portfolio, providing bookkeeping and VAT assistance, including software training.
- Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and budgets, and discuss financial strategies with company directors.
- Ensure VAT compliance, identify complex transactions, and prepare accounts up to Extended Trial Balance.
- Implement new processes and software, contributing to departmental improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- AAT Level 3 or 4 completed.
- 5+ years in accounting/bookkeeping.
- Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, and FRS102 accounts preparation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
