Service Centre Manager

- Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + £5K car allowance 25 days holiday per year and bank holidays. Pension 6% colleague 6% company, Life Assurance – 2X salary & Private Health Care.
I am delighted to be recruiting exclusively for an experienced operations/branch manager for the role of Service Centre Manager within plant hire rental. This is a pivotal position within our company, which values the empowerment and development of our colleagues. The successful candidate will have operational responsibility for all areas of a busy Service Centre, driving the business forward to meet targets and achieve the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the Service Centre's performance against all agreed targets and budgets, managing costs effectively.
- Motivate employees to create a positive work atmosphere and maximise team performance.
- Generate management reports monthly, addressing all aspects of profit and loss (P&L).
- Collaborate with the Sales team to develop new sales opportunities and expand the business.
- Ensure all work processes comply with Health and Safety guidelines.
- Maintain effective and clear communication within the Service Centre.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar operations/branch management role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Demonstrable commercial and financial acumen.
- Proficient in P&L account management and budgeting.
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to achieving high-quality standards.
- In-depth understanding and experience in managing Health and Safety practices.
- Full clean driving licence.
