Pay: £38,000 PA plus Company Car / Car Allowance and Benefits

Compass Group is seeking a dynamic Regional Human Resources People Manager to partner with our Operational Team, focusing on delivering a people strategy that aligns with our regional goals. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering an inclusive culture and building a diverse workforce, ensuring that Compass is a great place to work for all our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Strategy Delivery: Collaborate with the regional team and People Partner to implement a people plan that aligns with business goals. Focus on talent attraction, development, retention, colleague engagement, and business performance.
  • Employee Relations: Support the regional team in managing employee relations issues by leveraging HR Shared Services, ensuring timely and appropriate escalation.
  • Strategic HR Partnering: Advise, coach, challenge, and support regional teams on all strategic HR matters, enhancing management capability and fostering an engaged workforce.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyse People Metrics to provide actionable insights that shape HR interventions, drive performance, and support business growth.
  • HR Policy Champion: Ensure compliance with People Policies and Processes, acting as a champion for the wider HR team.
  • Resourcing Strategy: Work with the Resourcing Partner to develop and implement regional resourcing strategies, supporting the efficient filling of vacancies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving HR processes and procedures, sharing best practices across client sites.
  • EDI Advocacy: Champion Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, supporting the EDI Strategy and actively participating as an ally for employee representative groups.
  • Restructuring Support: Provide oversight for restructures, TUPE, and redundancy processes, ensuring a commercially focused approach to improve cost efficiency.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake any other duties as required by the nature of the role and commensurate with your capabilities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with stakeholders at all levels, managing conflicting deadlines, and working with minimal supervision.
  • Expertise in navigating complex HR issues and providing innovative solutions to challenging people-related problems.
  • Strong background in coaching and developing managers across all aspects of HR.
  • Comprehensive HR generalist experience, including Reward & Recognition, Learning & Development, Recruitment, Employee Relations, and policy interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong digital literacy.
  • Ability to analyse data and management information to provide valuable insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Forward-thinking and solutions-focused approach to HR.
  • Passionate about delivering a fantastic employee experience, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Committed to continuous professional development, demonstrating curiosity and engagement.
  • Effective and accurate written and verbal communication skills.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards it) or equivalent skills, knowledge, and behaviours.
