Our government sector client is looking for a Digital Advisor who is passionate about digital transformation to join their small team for 6 months. As the Digital Advisor you will have some experience of delivering project, ideally within the digital space. You will apply this to support the delivery of digital needs across different projects within the programme.
In this role you will:
- Support the delivery of the changes to digital services that form part of the projects under the Programme. You will be expected to work flexibly between projects.
- Facilitate engagement between project teams, delivery partners and others across the business to coordinate the delivery and integration of the changes to digital services.
Skills Required:
- An ability to operate in a complex and fast-moving environment, understanding linkages, inter-dependencies and risks;
- Experience of working on projects, ideally involving the development of digital services and agile project management.
- An ability to work flexibly and independently, being able to initiate and manage delivery of tasks as part of a complex workload;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain complex subjects to a varied audience;
- Experience of building and maintain relationships with colleagues and partners in dispersed networks and as part of work as a team;
- Skilled at persuading and influencing outcomes through understanding others' needs and adapting your approach.
- Knowledge or experience of Government Digital Service (GDS)
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
In return, you will receive the opportunity to support a major government department, going through large digital transformation. The possibility to work on a 6 month contract paying up to £400 p/day (in scope of IR35). There will be a requirement to be on site up to 3 days per week. This can be based at any office closest to your home address.
