Personal Tax Manager

Posted by Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited.

Your new company
I am currently working with a leading chartered accountancy firm in their field on a personal tax manager role. With over 30 years in their specialised field, they offer a wide range of services to their loyal clients. Working for individuals and partnerships, the firm is seeing a growth in their taxation side, and needs a new personal tax professional to join their team.

Your new role
This is a role which has come about from pure growth, and is seeking someone who can handle a busy portfolio of around 300 clients. In this role you will be responsible for managing the portfolio of clients by preparing the tax returns for the individuals, sole traders and partnerships. You will also calculate client liabilities and prepare letters to clients that accompany their tax returns. While this is a tax manager role, it is named this due to you managing your own portfolio, and not managing junior members of staff.

  • Must be ATT or CTA qualified.
  • A strong background in personal tax.
  • Proven experience managing a busy portfolio of clients.
  • Be able to work independently and unsupervised.

What you'll get in return
