Mechanical Design engineer
Job Specification
- Produce 2D CAD and 3D Inventor drawings, including system, general arrangement, sub-assembly and detail part drawings as needed.
- Apply design for manufacture principles to new and existing product lines.
- Create Pipe and Instrumentation Diagrams and Bill of Materials to support project execution.
- Maintain technical construction files and collaborate with Project Managers to resolve issues promptly.
- Identify approved parts for equipment use and communicate complete Bill of Materials to the Purchasing Department to meet project requirements.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications required
- Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC/HND or BEng/MEng in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working within the mechanical design sector
- Experience in a general engineering plant & equipment, process, bulk or bespoke machinery industry.
