A well-established education provider who has a really friendly and experienced team, educational are looking to bring in extra support for plumbing maintenance projects across the site.
Role Summary:
As a member of the Estates and Facilities Directorate's directly employed labour team, you will undertake mechanical repairs and maintenance work. Your responsibilities include ensuring compliance with industry standards, statutory requirements, and relevant codes of practice. You'll contribute to maintaining and developing the university's infrastructure and building fabric across various campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing mechanical repairs and maintenance work on plumbing systems.
- Adhere to industry standards and relevant codes of practice.
- Collaborate with colleagues in a professional and customer-focused manner.
- Participate in an on-call rota for out-of-hours cover (with applicable payments).
- Overtime may be required based on workload.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in plumbing and mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
