Property Compliance Officer - £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experience)

Hours – 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am -5pm.

Service – Housing and Maintenance, AGP, Oxford.

We are looking for a diligent and proactive individual with an innate ability to carry out administration to a high level and provide excellent customer service. The Property Compliance Officer (PCO) is responsible for ensuring that properties comply with all relevant legal, regulatory, and policy requirements. This includes but is not limited to conducting thorough inspections, maintaining accurate detailed records, preparing comprehensive reports, and advising on suitable corrective actions to meet compliance standards. The PCO will provide effective coordination and high level administrative support for services to ensure the smooth running of Response Property Compliance functions. There will be a focus on auditing and reporting of key data, diligently escalating risk and supporting/feeding into relevant departments with robust problem solving. What You'll Be Doing:

Some of the core duties include:

  • To meticulously ensure that all health and safety and compliance data is obtained, correctly stored and that the Compliance Data bases and schedules are kept up to date.
  • To provide data and narrative to support weekly meetings, audits and contractual returns.
  • To provide support to the H&S team and Operational manager to ensure that our policies, procedures and align with industry and internal standards. Actively seek out information to remain updated on changes in relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Assist with training of internal team members to ensure compliance with current licenses and certifications held and the company's quality standards. To support our Learning and Development team in ensuring all staff within the team are suitably trained and equipped with the appropriate knowledge to safely carry out their roles.
  • To share and collate information from 3rd parties to ensure compliance records are complete and standards are being met. To follow up on outstanding items or areas of concern with internal or external teams. Communicate with Support Staff and Housing Officers regarding compliance issues and resolve any related concerns. Ensure through utilising Support Staff and Housing Officer's tenant activities comply with property regulations and policies.
  • Liaise effectively with Response Voids Manager, Maintenance Operatives and any external contractors to ensure smooth running of the inspections, cyclical maintenance and H&S items and to maintain high standards of service delivery.
  • Under the guidance of Operations Manager identify ways of improving Property processes and systems, taking personal responsibility for implementing improvement where this is feasible.
  • To actively promote and reflect Responses culture, driving the organisation's goals and values.
  • To assist the Operations Manager with the preparation of reports and statistical information in support of audits, reporting and formal contractual returns.
  • Provide line management, guidance and regular supervision to repairs administrations workers.

Essential criteria:

  • 3 years' experience in a senior administration role.Excellent skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Housing Management systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to take ownership, accountability and responsibility of projects and tasks.

  • Demonstrate an ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
  • Holds a full UK Drivers licence.
