Solidworks Junior Designer
£13.50 - £18 per hour

My client is seeking a skilled and motivated SolidWorks Junior Designerto join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SolidWorks with experience in Part Moulding, Weldment and Exporting Drawings.
As a SolidWorks junior Designer, you will be responsible for creating and modifying 3D models, drawings, and assemblies with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 3D models, drawings, and assemblies using Solidworks software
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop design solutions
- Ensure designs meet industry standards and specifications
- Conduct design reviews and make necessary revisions
- Create manufacturing drawings and documentation such as Part Moulding and Weldment
- Assist with prototype development and testing
Essential Skills:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or related field preferred Certification in Solidworks
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using Solidworks software
- Proficiency in creating 3D models, drawings, and assemblies
- Knowledge & experience of Weldment
- Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly
- Experience in creating models for sheet metal fabrication
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
