Children MASH Deputy Team Manager

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and prioritise referrals to ensure timely assessments for children's safeguarding cases.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to support joint decision-making and comprehensive case evaluations.
  • Guide the team in following safeguarding protocols and meeting statutory requirements for children's services.
  • Provide mentorship and support to staff, fostering professional development and consistent practice standards.
  • Conduct audits to ensure assessments meet safeguarding standards for children.
  • Serve as the escalation point for high-risk cases, making prompt decisions to mitigate risks to children's safety.

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience post qualification
  • Action safeguarding procedures
