Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

Salary: Up to £49,000 + Benefits
Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)

Our well-established FMCG manufacturing client in Carlisle is experiencing significant growth and is looking to strengthen its team with the addition of a talented Maintenance Engineer.
Key Responsibilities of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Performing preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyors, packaging equipment, and pumps.
- Rapid fault finding and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with the production and engineering teams to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects to optimize plant performance.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and procedures at all times.
Requirements of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Strong mechanical bias with experience in an FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous.
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Willingness to work 4 on 4 off shifts (days and nights).
