Description
- Lead the Financial insight reporting to give an overview of business and financial performance. Highlight trends, key actions, and strategic implications.
- Develop, implement and maintain loan loss provision strategy.
- Support the development of financial KPIs to assess the success of both the business and the financial strategy.
- Track performance against key targets and outcomes and produce regular management information to all senior management and the Board
- Responsible for end-to-end delivery of financial forecasting processes
- Develop, implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis capability that will provide senior leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance
- Develop, implement and maintain financial models and analysis of trends to drive decision making and communicate relevant messages across the business.
- Produce professional reports and presentations summarising the forecasts for senior management and the Board.
- Work with the IT department to recommend suitable technology solutions to enhance financial modelling and analysis capability.
- Financial planning - Set the agenda and lead the end to end delivery of forecasts / budgets / longer term plans through business partnering across finance and the wider business to provide clear financial projections, targets and ownership aligned with strategic objectives.
Profile
- Qualified Accountant: ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accountancy qualification.
- Sector Experience: Proven experience within the high-cost short-term industry.
- Experience with Loan Loss Provisions: Essential experience in developing and maintaining loan loss provision strategies.
- Data Analysis: Proficient in analysing large data sets to drive business insights and decision-making.
