HGV Class 1 Driver (Night Shift) Wanted
Rates:
- Basic: £24.58/hour
- Overtime (after 46.25 hours): £27.48/hour
- Plus Holiday Pay
Rapier Employment Ltd is currently hiring a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver for our client Welham Green, Hertfordshire.
Shifts:
Guaranteed 5 days/week, Immediate starts
- Start Times: 19:00 PM - 05:00 AM
- Days: Thursday – Monday or Friday – Tuesday
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) license (held for 1+ year)
- Min 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
- CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Max 6 penalty points, no major endorsements
- Knowledge of Driver Hours, Regulations, and Working Time Directive
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles
- Timely delivery and collection
- Pre- and post-trip inspections
- Accurate delivery records and logs
- Follow traffic laws and safety regulations
- Handle roller cages as needed
