This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join a global Technology company that is going through a scale-up. You will manage financial accounting and reporting ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
The Senior Financial Accountant will report directly into the Senior Group Accountant, is a hybrid role based in Soho.
Senior Financial Accountant Responsibilities:
- Manage a small team of junior accountants
- Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes
- Review balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the coordination of year-end statutory audit requests
- Assist with the coordination of outsourced payroll providers and liaise with tax advisors
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis
Ideal Senior Financial Accountant skillset:
- Are a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with at least 2-3 years post-qualification experience
- Have an excellent knowledge and application of IFRS
- Possess excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Have experience managing complex accounting issues with senior stakeholders
- Are proficient detail-oriented, and highly motivated to drive process improvements
- Have excellent organisational and time-management skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- You are collaborative, humble and a problem-solver
