Senior Security Consultant - Built Environment / Buildings
Location: London

Join a leading London Engineering Consultancy as a Senior Security Consultant specialising in the Built Environment. This role offers an attractive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and a hybrid working model.
About the Role:
As a Senior Security Consultant, you will prepare and coordinate physical security design advice for top-tier projects across various sectors. The Security Consulting team develops high-quality protective security designs for large-scale global projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering security consultancy and master planning on UK and international projects.
- Engaging in projects such as airports, sports stadia, entertainment venues, educational facilities, transport hubs, museums, and advanced hi-tech facilities.
- Providing client-facing consultancy, design, project management, operational advice, business development, and R&D.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to produce risk registers.
- Develop security strategies to meet statutory requirements.
- Produce innovative design concepts, staying updated on emerging threats and trends.
- Advise clients on appropriate security technologies.
- Develop and deliver testing programs to ensure security program integrity.
- Supervise and mentor graduate security consultants.
- Research and write standards, policies, procedures, and intelligence reports.

About You:
- Experienced Security Consultant with a background in the Built Environment / Buildings
- Qualification in Security and Risk Management, Crime & Criminology, or related fields
- Chartered or working towards chartership with a relevant institution
- Membership of SyI, ASC, or IAPSC
- Experience developing security strategies across various projects
- Experience assessing security risks in diverse sectors and locations
