Damp and Mould Surveyor – Housing Association – About The Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are currently representing a Greater Manchester based Housing Association to recruit a Damp and Mould Surveyor on an initial 3-6 month interim contract with a view to go permanent. This role offers £25 - £29 per hour with some flexibility dependent on qualifications/experience with mileage allowance.
Damp and Mould Surveyor – Housing Association – About The Role:
- Conduct surveys and inspections of buildings, identifying and diagnosing defects, and providing recommendations for repairs and maintenance
- To be responsible for providing a technical & diagnostic service and providing an excellent contract management service to all residents & stakeholders
- Ensure that pre and post inspections are carried out in accordance with agreed frequency to make sure quality standards are being delivered
- Take a proactive approach to the identification of preventative repairs and maintenance to maintain assets and ensuring that the customer's home is respected at all times
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints, confirm root cause and put in place corrective action to prevent repeat failures
Damp and Mould Surveyor – Housing Association – What You Need:
- Valid UK driving license
- Ability to assess & mitigate any health & safety risks and hazards associated with the building / construction industry
- Social Housing experience
- Clear knowledge of Health and Safety legislation pertaining to the construction industry including CDM and HHSRS
