Finance Director

Our client is a well-respected privately owned business operating within the Manufacturing Industry with the companies UK Head Office based in the West of Coventry.

As part of the companies continued expansion, FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of Qualified Finance Leader to join the business as Finance Director.
This position will report into the Managing Director (Share Holder) with providing leadership not just across finance but the wider business (operations, sales, commercial) whilst also ensuring robust financial governance and control and financial planning providing strategic guidance to drive growth

  • Support the managing director and share holders with the day to day running of a dynamic and ambitious manufacturing business.
  • Responsible for producing timely and accurate Management Information to provide insightful analysis
  • Responsible for the development of the budget and forecasting process
  • Develop the stock and planning system
  • Responsibility for daily cash flow and working capital management
  • Monitor and continuous improvement of all financial processes
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess business performance
  • Implement cost control measures and performance metrics to drive cost management and cost efficiency
  • Completion of year-end accounts, and preparation of audit packs
  • Responsibility for Payroll to ensure the department meets all company and statutory regulations

The ideal candidate for this position will e formally qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA and ideally have at least 5 Years PQE.
Previous experience gained within a dynamic Manufacturing / Engineering biased business is desirable with a key focus within the first 6/12 months being a detailed review of the companies Cost Accounting and Stock Management processes to enable scaled growth.
Ideal candidate
Recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA/ ACCA/ACA)
Strong financial acumen with a track record of driving financial performance and adding value
Experience of using financial systems and technologies to drive change and efficiency
Proven experience in a finance leadership role, ideally within an owner managed manufacturing company
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
Strong Excel and analytical skills
In return a basic salary of £75,000 - £100,000 + Excellent Benefits and Profit Share bonus will be offered.
