We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Stakeholder and Community Manager to lead our efforts in engaging and collaborating with the communities and stakeholders on projects working to decarbonise home heating.

Your role is crucial in building positive relationships and ensuring our projects have a lasting impact.

I help to keep people safe and warm by...

  • Developing, maintaining, and supporting stakeholder relationships through stakeholder events, forums, or meetings for Future of Energy projects.
  • Consistently embedding stakeholder and community strategy across Future of Energy teams.
  • Scoping out issues identified by internal or external stakeholders and developing engagement plans.
  • Managing and reviewing stakeholder mapping.

What you'll need

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, or related roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of energy and sustainability principles is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Essential

Technical Skills Knowledge/Experience

  • Demonstratable experience of stakeholder/communication knowledge
  • Strong influencing ability

Desirable

  • Project Management, Change Management, Public Relations, Marketing, and Negotiating.
  • Energy, Sustainability, or Net Zero Transition.
