Job Summary:
As the Senior Marketing Manager (Agency Style), you will take charge of our diverse marketing portfolio, overseeing the strategic direction and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple products, industries, and countries. This role requires a seasoned marketing professional with extensive agency experience and a proven ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects.

You will lead a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence. Your role will involve working closely with Product Owners to ensure our marketing efforts align with business objectives and deliver measurable results across different markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership Across Multiple Markets: Develop and execute tailored marketing strategies for a diverse range of products and services across various industries and geographical markets.
  • Agency-Like Project Management: Manage the full lifecycle of marketing campaigns as if running a marketing agency, overseeing multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the client's or internal stakeholders' expectations.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a diverse marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Provide guidance and support to ensure the team excels in their roles and consistently delivers high-quality work.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Owners, IT, Customer Contact teams, and external stakeholders to ensure marketing strategies are integrated with product development and service delivery. Drive effective communication and collaboration across all functions.
  • Brand Management Across Diverse Channels: Maintain and enhance brand consistency across various channels and markets, adapting strategies to meet the specific needs of different industries and cultural contexts.
  • Market Analysis and Insight: Conduct in-depth market research across multiple industries to understand market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes. Use these insights to refine marketing strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Performance Metrics and Continuous Improvement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for all campaigns, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Recruitment and Talent Development: Work closely with HR to attract and retain top marketing talent. Oversee the recruitment process, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of team members to ensure a robust and capable marketing team.
  • Vendor and Outsourced Management: Source and manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors, ensuring all outsourced work aligns with our brand standards and strategic goals.
  • Senior Leadership Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the marketing team and senior leadership, providing regular updates on project statuses, campaign performance, and strategic initiatives.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience in marketing management within an agency or multi-product environment, with a strong background in managing diverse campaigns across multiple industries and markets.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a diverse marketing team, with a focus on developing talent and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience handling complex, multi-faceted projects in a fast-paced, agency-like setting.
  • Expertise in market research, data analysis, and performance optimization across different cultural and geographical markets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, web analytics, CRM software, and project management platforms.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in the content creator or influencer marketing space is a highly desirable skill.
  • Experience managing marketing efforts across multiple regions is highly desirable.

This role is Hybrid. It's not 100% remote, but it's as close as it gets - Let's explain WHY.

Why are we posting in Cheshire? Well, we work remotely as a business, but many of our senior team travel to the UK, and two are based there. We hold a lot of meetings in Cheshire, so there is a possibility of regular work together. Therefore, we are starting in that area and working our way out. If you feel you can come and attend meetings in Cheshire (a commutable distance), then great!

We work on a simple rule when hiring: "Remote" is Work from Anywhere & NO Office EVER. "Hybrid" is Work from Home, But sometimes we meet up. "Office" is 100% in the office, but we don't really ever do that ;)
