Contractor Talent Development Partner

Reporting to the Talent Development Manger, the Talent Development Partner is responsible

for:

  • Leading all learning & development planning and delivery. The post holder will analyse

organisation and individual development and training needs to underpin cost-effective

provision of an effective company programme of learning opportunities

  • The post holder will develop, define and implement L&D activity to support the companies to meet business objectives through delivery of a commercially orientated learning and

development service.

  • Working in partnership with the HRBPs, to forecast the skills profile required by the site to ensure that we continue to operate competitively and are able to deliver our customer

requirements with competence.

  • Providing the tools, processes and expertise for the HRBPs to use in partnership with the

company's managers to ensure effective Talent development activity.

  • Involvement in Early careers programmes with specific focus on graduates, internships and

year in industry.

Candidate skills & requirements Essential

  • Sound working knowledge L&D theory including TNA and its principles.
  • Experience of LMS use.
  • Ability to analyse data and draw conclusions to provide recommended action.
  • The ability to develop, build and maintain credible and effective working relationships by

influencing people managers and other key stakeholders providing constructive challenge

where appropriate.

  • Demonstrable experience of sound project management skills and ability to plan individual

and large-scale training events.

  • Experience of designing and shaping blended learning solutions across a diverse set of

functions.

  • Experience of managing 3rd party training/recruitment providers.
  • Sound understanding of apprenticeships management in the UK.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR solutions that address customer issues and add

value.

  • Show a commitment to CPD by keeping up to date with current affairs, industry

developments and related matters.

Desirable

  • Good training and facilitation skills (or be willing to learn) as well as knowledge of technology

applied to learning solutions

  • Experience in commercially focused Learning and Development role
  • Experience of working in a large, global matrix organisation
