Robert Half are excited to be working with a repeat client to recruit an addition to their Finance team as a Payroll and Purchase Ledger Clerk
The organisation is a well established growing offering a salary of up to £27,500 with onsite parking.
Main Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:
-
Oversee the weekly payroll for approximately 150 employees.

Accurately gather and input working hours and holiday information from timesheets and clock cards.

Calculate pay based on shift patterns, overtime, bonuses, and expenses.

Submit weekly payments via BACS.

Manage employee pension contributions, ensuring compliance with automatic enrolment regulations.

Process new starters and leavers, including contract and pension letter generation.

Accounts and Reporting:

Assist with purchase ledger.

Prepare and distribute weekly reports as required.

Handle court orders and attachment of earnings/maintenance payments in accordance with government guidelines.

Close the payroll period and generate reports for the Finance Director
