What You'll Bring:

The Head of Emerging Solutions will identify and assess opportunities and partnerships in the region, around innovation, new business lines, major strategic initatives, and support the development of product strategies to support the growth agenda.

Based on industry knowledge, client needs, regulatory frameworks and market dynamics they will work with key stakeholders to help the organization make go/no go decisions on new opportunities through robust business casing and evaluation processes. They will work to enable global IP diffusion by partnering with business owners, product managers and other senior leaders to develop product strategies.

They will prioritise solution-related investments and resource allocation to optimize financial results, with a focus on the long term product roadmap, crafting the Solutions strategy in alignment with the rest of the Organization.

This role is responsible for Solutions innovation from ideation to execution in partnership with Product teams.

Day to Day You'll Be:

  • Designs, facilitates and manages the evaluation process to determine a go/no go decision on new business opportunities, partnerships and innovation cases from Solutions' perspective.
  • Supports the development of robust product strategies to help drive the growth agenda by partnering with S&P, Analytics, Business owners and Product Managers.
  • Partners with key stakeholders to build the information required to develop a point of view and recommendation on partnership opportunities, strategic decisions, and resource allocation.
  • Generates new ideas for, and leads the assessment and business case development of, new product development opportunities with the business owners, product managers, Strategy and Planning lead, COE heads and with global knowledge experts to facilitate and enable import/export of global IP.
  • Other related duties within the Solutions team, such as alignment of forecasting, planning, product pipeline and tracking, with the strategic roadmap.
  • Play a lead role in managing new partnerships until such time as the partnership is operationalized.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • MBA degree with global strategy experience or experience with strategy consulting would be preferred.
  • Strong experience, in Consulting Services and/or driving strategic initiatives with focus on Product or Risk Management in Financial Services.
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity with a successful track record of driving ideas to implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of TransUnion solutions and competitive positioning
  • Financial and/or credit industry subject matter expertise, with focus on Product Management, Product Development and Strategy.
  • Excellent project management capabilities and high attention to detail; comfortable working under deadlines and producing key deliverables.
  • Sound business judgment and excellent problem solving and influencing skills.
  • Proficient financial, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to quickly grasp industry and business-wide concepts in order to assess implications to drive actions and to capitalize on opportunities.
