We are looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join our clients team. You will be the main point of contact for clients and purchasers once a sale is agreed upon and in the hands of solicitors. Your objective will be to ensure the exchange and completion of contracts as swiftly and efficiently as possible. This role is perfect for someone with a background in the property industry, who possesses tenacity, patience, and excellent communication skills.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Be the professional and knowledgeable first point of contact for clients post-sale.
  • Understand customer needs and timescales, ensuring a smooth conveyancing process.
  • Regularly check chain details and fill in any gaps, explaining the process to first-time movers or those unfamiliar with recent procedures.
  • Make weekly calls to check on progress and update all parties involved.
  • Challenge solicitors and ask questions to establish the true situation of the sale.
  • Respond to enquiries efficiently and professionally, maintaining clear communication throughout the chain.
  • Notify all parties upon exchange and confirm arrangements for completion.
  • Follow up with clients post-completion to ensure satisfaction and request reviews.
  • Report projected exchanges and communicate any changes to the branch manager and Sales Director.
  • Liaise with various departments to maximise opportunities and customer retention.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an estate agent with knowledge of the conveyancing process.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to empathise and build rapport.
  • Track record of proactive problem-solving and negotiation.
  • Preference for phone communication over email to maintain personal touch.
