Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Opportunity

Salary: £25,015.20 - £27,302.30 (FTE £29,120.00 - £31,782.40)
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Term-Time Only
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. If you're passionate about supporting young people with additional learning needs and helping them achieve their full potential in a caring and safe environment, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide learning and well-being support to students, ensuring they have the best opportunities for success.
- Plan and deliver learning activities under the teacher's guidance, contributing to a well-rounded curriculum.
- Build positive relationships with students to help them feel safe, motivated, and engaged in their education.
- Assist in tracking, assessing, and reporting on student progress.
- Offer constructive feedback to support pupil development and achievement.
- Uphold pupil welfare in accordance with school safeguarding and PREVENT policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or above.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or 4 and above).
- Experience with SEN, SLD/PMLD, ADHD, and ASD is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
- Experience managing challenging behaviour and working in an inclusive learning environment.
