Project Manager

We are partnering with a dynamic and expanding company who are looking for talented employees who want to work in an environment that is challenging and rewarding.

Our client is part of a larger group offering services in capital delivery projects, environmental management, energy management, plant and infrastructure maintenance, and emergency response.
Reporting to the Frameworks Manager covering works within the UK you will be responsible for the delivery of projects within their portfolio ranging from £25 - £1.5M ensuring tight control of programme, delivery, quality and commercial.

Duties include:

  • Collaborate with Project, Commercial, Design, and Operations teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations.
  • Plan resource effectively and ensure internal processes are followed including monthly programme & forecast updates
  • Follow tender processes and supplier evaluations
  • Responsible for proactive management of health & safety, Site Inspection targets, and liaison with clients and suppliers
  • Review subcontractor approvals and performance.
  • Provide training and career development opportunities.
  • Participate in client initiatives, achieve KPIs, and enhance Health & Safety performance.

Key skills:

  • Be well organised, have excellent customer skills and be IT literate in MS Office packages including MS Project
  • Hold relevant Project Management qualifications (APM, Prince 2, etc.) and demonstrate a solid understanding of relevant legislation, CDM regulations, and NEC contracts.
  • Have appropriate experience and a technical understanding of the M&E requirements
  • Be a proactive, can-do individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Require a full driving licence and there will be an element of travelling to sites as required
