Finance Assistant

£36,000 + Pension
This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious, keen and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join a vibrant organisation where in return for dedication and hard work there will be the chance to progress.
Some of your duties will include:
- Providing general support in the Accounts Department with a wide range of account and finance duties
- Checking purchase invoices received and raising supplier payments by cheque and BACs
- Raising sales invoices, recording payments received on client accounts and chasing overdue payments
- Managing any supplier or client payment queries that occur and resolving all issues
- Assisting the Manager with bank reconciliation and the production of quarterly VAT returns
- Helping with month-end process and preparing debtor and creditor reports
