This success has been achieved through the great people across the business who helped them accomplish all of this and this new opportunity for a People Business Partner will play a key role to help build on this success.

The People Business Partner will be working closely with the Head of HR and HR Advisor to contribute to the delivery of an effective, efficient and pro-active HR service. As People Business Partner, you will help to shape and drive improved business performance through the implementation and development of people related policies and strategies. You will also work closely with the management team of each Business Unit and will be a trusted advisor supporting them on key initiatives such as:

  • Strategic Planning & Talent Management
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Commercial and Operational Awareness
  • Employee Engagement & Culture

You will work closely with the Head of Human Resources to deliver the People Strategy across the business and play a full active role in delivering a proactive, flexible, value adding HR service. This will be achieved by providing effective advice, support and guidance to senior leaders, line managers and colleagues, whilst delivering strategic and operational people projects and initiatives.

Responsible for 4 key Business Units, you will be the main point of contact and subject matter expert on complex employment cases and projects and provide HR related advice across the generalist range of the role. The area of the business you will work closely with do recognise Trade Unions so experience of working within a unionised environment is preferred.

This will be a true generalist role supporting the business, which offers you a varied, broad and interesting opportunity where you will provide advice and support to employees and managers in all aspects of the employee life cycle including recruitment and selection, on boarding, induction, performance management, and employee relations, engagement, and well-being.

A key area of focus will be looking at succession planning sessions, talent reviews and retention initiatives to support the business in identifying, engaging and retaining top talent. This also links into considering the delivery of an appropriate reward, recognition and benefit strategy that facilitates staff retention, succession planning and employee development.

This is a full-time, permanent contract.
Salary range £40,000 - £44,000
Predominantly office based.
