Management Accountant

Reed Finance are exclusively recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a leading real estate firm in London to join their Property Finance and Investment Team during an exciting period of growth. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to contribute to our expansion in the Real Estate and Private Equity markets and work in a dynamic environment.
This is a 6-month fixed term contract and will require a fully qualified Accountant who has experience preparing VAT returns and ideally experience within property or fund related management accounting.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct management and financial accounting for a portfolio of entities, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Produce accounts and prepare audit files and annual financial statements for multiple entities.
- Analyse and agree intra-group transactions and handle VAT returns.
- Provide oversight and guidance to junior team members, reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA).
- Strong academic background - Must have a minimum of A or B at GCSE English & Maths.
- Experience preparing VAT returns
- Experience within the real estate or fund accounting sector.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, highly numerate and strong organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage a varied and sometimes pressured workload.
- Judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible mindset with a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of MRI Qube is highly desirable.
