Role Description:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll provide tailored support to students, including those with challenging behaviours, fostering their development both academically and personally.

Duration:
This position starts as a long-term temporary role, with the potential to transition into a permanent placement after a specified period of working with the school through our organisation.
Requirements & Experience:
Candidates should have previous experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, demonstrating the ability to forge strong connections with students who may find engagement difficult
Previous experience in either a mainstream or SEN school setting would be advantageous.
Ideal candidates will exhibit a balance of firmness and kindness, capable of setting boundaries while maintaining a compassionate and empathetic approach towards students.
Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is preferred.
Applicants must possess or be willing to obtain a DBS check with a children's barred list check, registered with the update service.
Working Hours:
Candidates should be available Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
