Platform Relationship Manager - North East (Field Based) - around £55,000 plus Bonus and Benefits

A leading investment management firm is currently seeking a talented Platform Relationship Manager to join their team in the North-East of England. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly renowned organisation in the investment management sector.

As a Platform Relationship Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting Wealth Managers and Advisers by ensuring the seamless integration of the platform into their business operations. By doing so, you will enhance their efficiency and enable them to deliver exceptional service to their clients. This role requires strong interpersonal skills as you will be responsible for building relationships with Wealth Managers, providing training on the platform, and promoting additional services where appropriate.

To excel in this position, you should have prior experience working for a platform or within the investment management sector. Individuals with extensive platform experience, such as Paraplanners, who are looking to transition into a role in investment management, will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with Wealth Managers and provide training on the platform through face-to-face and telephone interactions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses and identify opportunities to promote additional services.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Platform Sales and Relationship Management teams to acquire and integrate new platform clients.
  • Drive increased Straight-Through-Processing (STP) adoption for application processes.
  • Ensure successful implementation and targeted usage of new online and electronic functionalities.
  • Take ownership of client queries, providing timely resolutions.
  • Act as the regional platform expert, providing training and support to the regional team.
  • Gather valuable feedback from clients to improve the platform's proposition and service.
  • Support regional events and campaigns.
  • Keep Wealth Managers informed of changes, such as Corporate Actions.
