Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Basildon
Remuneration: Up to £35,000
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07.30-16.00, early finish on Fridays
Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their team in Basildon. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting team, ensuring efficient and accurate operations.
Responsibilities:
- Create programmes for our machines.
- Develop component packages.
- Continuously improve the efficiency and accuracy of machines.
- Troubleshoot printing and placement errors.
- Provide process support for machines, reflow ovens, AOI, and associated machinery.
- Create custom reflow profiles using data collection mole/software.
- Assist in the repair of breakdowns with the support of third-party providers.
- Attend new product introduction meetings and collaborate with Production Engineering/Quality teams.
- Ensure the efficiency and accuracy of new products.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures.
Qualifications, Skills, and Education Requirements:
- Previous experience with manufacturing machinery in an engineering support role.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient computer skills.
