Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Basildon

Remuneration: Up to £35,000

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07.30-16.00, early finish on Fridays

Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join their team in Basildon. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting team, ensuring efficient and accurate operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Create programmes for our machines.
  • Develop component packages.
  • Continuously improve the efficiency and accuracy of machines.
  • Troubleshoot printing and placement errors.
  • Provide process support for machines, reflow ovens, AOI, and associated machinery.
  • Create custom reflow profiles using data collection mole/software.
  • Assist in the repair of breakdowns with the support of third-party providers.
  • Attend new product introduction meetings and collaborate with Production Engineering/Quality teams.
  • Ensure the efficiency and accuracy of new products.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures.

Qualifications, Skills, and Education Requirements:

  • Previous experience with manufacturing machinery in an engineering support role.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in the electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient computer skills.
