Study – ideal project for an MBA student
The objective:
To research why we are successful in the areas that we are relating to Social Housing.
We work with Local Authorities and Housing Associations in this sector.
We get regular lighting projects but much of it is repeat business and we do not have a clear and deep understanding of why or how we are maintaining this success.
We wish to continue to build on what we have established so far and formulate a recipe for future success.
The remit of this role is to take a deep dive into the "what", "how" and "why" and analyse what has worked historically/is working now, so that we can plan for the future.
The role will involve studying lots of data, we have Power BI technology to help with this.
The person will need to be analytical and technically competent.
They will also need to ‘interview' people – so good communication skills are key.
The people they will want to speak to will be our internal stakeholders, particularly our Sales people, as well as some of our customers.
They will need to be able to interpret information and pull out the relevant, key facts that be used in a plan of action.
They do not need to have any experience of working with local authorities, in social housing, lighting or architecture, although an interest or any involvement in any of these may help
In summary, we are seeking a bright, articulate and analytical MBA Grad with a commercial outlook, for a 3-6 months project (initially – it could evolve into something more).
