You can be an experienced Drama teacher looking to take a step up to Head of Department - if you wish to lead the Drama team, you will need QTS / QTLS, the ability to drive theatre & design teaching, contribute to the subject improvement plan, mentor ITT trainees, review & monitor the delivery of Drama team - including ECT's. Drama teachers will be involved in organising school theatre trips, theatre productions, puppetry workshops and enjoy good GCSE results in the subject.
