Financial Controller
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing Renewables business. They are on an exciting growth trajectory and are currently diversifying and adding new products to the market. The business are seeking a proactive and hands-on Financial Controller. They need an experienced manager to lead the Finance team, business partner with various teams and continue to drive the business forward.
What you will be doing:
- The Financial Controller will be responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
- Ownership of annual budgets and provide commentary on performance vs budget;
- Business Partner the sales, marketing and supply team; ensure reporting is adhered to
- As a Financial Controller, you will work closely with the rest of the Senior Leadership team, and present to investors and the board
- Subject matter expert for auditors
- Manage a team of four
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Previous management experience essential
- Experience within the Renewables space advantageous but not a requirement
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Due to continued growth, this role requires an experienced Finance individual to build on financial controls, and continue to mentor their team as a proactive and hands on Financial Controller.
