Interim Commercial Finance Director
London Hybrid - 3 days
£160K pro-rata (6 months)
We have been exclusively retained by a rapidly growing, well-respected UK based insurer who are looking for interim support. As the FCommercial Finance Director, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of new products and new markets by partnering with the business and CFO providing strategic financial planning.
Ideally this individual will have a strong business partnering background, experience working within the insurance sector and strong FP&A experience across modelling, analysis and strategic partnering. Candidates will need to be available at short notice
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for budgets, forecasts, financial modelling and long-term strategic financial planning
- Preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly financial results presentations with supporting analysis
- Partner with business unit heads in building their annual budgets and forecasts
- Build reliable and predictive forecasting models to project short- and long-term growth
- Lead cashflow forecasting alongside the controllership teams
- Provide analysis and insight to senior management on performance across products, departments and operations to give a clear indication of overall performance
- Prepare business cases to support new investment
- Identify and make recommendation on cost reduction and revenue generation
- Provide the CFO with insight across people, tech stack and process to support the long-term strategic vision of the function
Education and skills:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience working within the Insurance sector preferred
- Proven abilities across financial modelling, analytics, quantitative and statistical skillsets
- Proven success in partnering across various products, departments and stakeholders
- NetSuite would be highly advantageous
