Salary: £30 per hour (37 hours per week paid)

Eden Brown are currently recruiting a part time temporary digital skills lecturer on behalf of a leading further education college in the Lancashire area.

As a Digital Skills Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging lessons to further education students across the below units.

Gateway L1 Introduction to Digital and IT Skills
Gateway L2 Extend Certificate in Digital and IT Skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students, encouraging their progress.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on students academic performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into your teaching.
  • Collaborate with the department to continuously enhance the digital curriculum.

To apply for the role you will have

  • A degree or relevant qualification in digital technologies, computer science, or a related field.

(Candidate with level 3 and good teaching experience will also be considered)

  • Industry experience and/or teaching experience in digital skills (preferred)
  • Passion for teaching with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Strong knowledge of a range of digital topics
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

This is to cover sickness for a minimum of 8 weeks.

A DBS will also be needed for this role.
