Blue Arrow are currently working with a long term client on an Inventory Controller position based within their facility in Stirling.
We are looking to speak to applicants who have notable experience within Logistics/Inventory/Stock Control and is able to commute to Stirling on a daily basis.
Contract Details
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: 0830-1700
- Salary: £28,000 p/a
- Onsite working (5 days)
Key Duties
- Continually review and amend stock levels to ensure business requirements are met
- Oversee/help processing goods inwards to ensure timely and accurate entry into ERP systems
- Co-ordinate/processing goods returning to suppliers/manufactures to ensure no stock bottlenecks/delays
- Orgainse and co-ordinate import and export activities
- Monitor stock levels and perform regular physical stock checks to ensure accuracy
- Reconcile general stock discrepancies
- Ensure measures are taken to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
- Ensure accurate and full stock take activities are conducted inline with business requirements - The the lead and co-oradinate year end stock take
- Reordering of stock lines to replenish and reach to business demands
- Ensure safe, and efficient storage of stock
- Drive accuracy and efficiency improvements to ensure the business manages inventory effectively.
