Admin/Receptionist (FTC)

We are delighted to be supporting a well-established business to appoint an Admin/Receptionist (10 month FTC) based in Gateshead.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide front of house support, ensuring that all internal and external visitors are welcomed, signed in and security requirements met (i.e. relevant ID etc.) notifying our people of their visitors and ensuring all contractors are expected and given access to their required work areas.
  • Liaise with 3rd party providers in order to engage their services as required in order to support and maintain our offices and Data Centres.
  • Ensure the maintenance and upkeep of the office.
  • Assist the Senior Leadership team and appropriate individuals with administrative requirements such as travel and expenses.
  • To support the People team with onboarding administration and our volunteering/social approach.
  • Ensure that consumables are ordered via 3rd party suppliers in a timely manner.

Experience:

  • Previous Reception/Office Manager experience.
  • Experience answering phones and dealing with customers
  • Good MS Office skills in particular Excel and Word.
  • Organised and able to prioritise work effectively.
  • An enthusiastic, driven, committed and flexible approach to work.
  • Solutions driven, confident and friendly approach in dealing with people.
  • Natural initiative and pro-activeness to their method of working.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
